Second Sight: A new look at memory and note-taking

Bonus Module

This is a two-hour optional module that stands alone from the rest of the curriculum. In this session, we will expore the history and application of advanced visual memory techniques, with a practicum component to relate them to real-world experiences. Then we'll analyze the intent and patterns of note-taking you currently use, and briefly contrast them to some alternative methods, then discuss the role each skills set plays in the interpreting profession.

Class time: Tuesday 7:00 to 9:00 PM EST

To participate, you must have a broadband internet connection and a personal computer with a headset and microphone. You will not be able to use external microphones and speakers as these can be disruptive to the class. We recommend Plantronics audio equipment.
